The Healthcare Quality and Equity Action Forum ? September 24-25 ...

The Healthcare Quality and Equity Action Forum: ?Preparing for a Changing Healthcare System? will take place on September 24-25, 2012 at the Boston Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center, Boston, MA.? This forum is presented by The Disparities Solutions Center, and will provide the background, key drivers, and essential strategies to improve quality and achieve equity in a time of rapid healthcare system change. The forum will bring together professionals from multiple disciplines and health care organizations working in the areas of quality and safety, health disparities, diversity and equity, health policy, and health care design and delivery. Attendees will hear from leaders building the foundations for high-performing healthcare systems, accountable care organizations, and patient-centered medical homes, to deliver high quality, equitable health care to diverse populations. This will be an opportunity to network with leaders, colleagues, and peers from hospitals, health plans, health centers, and other healthcare organizations that are integrating disparities solutions into quality improvement, and innovating at the front-line. Sessions will be led by national experts in health policy, quality and safety, measurement and accreditation, as well as from leaders in healthcare delivery from around the country.?
