We are currently seeking a Vice President, Transaction Manager to join our Public Institutions team in the Metropolitan DC in providing Tenant Representation leasing services to public sector clients.? This individual would also take a key client relationship role on a team dedicated to providing leasing transaction services for high profile public sector clients.
VICE PRESIDENT, Transaction Manager - Washington, DC
Responsibilities:
??Execute lease transactions in the Metropolitan DC area and work with clients and other Jones Lang LaSalle professionals to assist in overseeing the implementation of multiple real estate leasing transactions in primary and secondary markets nationally; Each transaction would involve a significant element of client management through each stage of the leasing process including canvassing the market to establish negotiation objectives for the key lease terms, conducing tours of available space with the client, advertising and soliciting for offers, evaluating offers using net present value analysis, leading landlord lease negotiations of detailed lease terms, executing leases and tracking progress through occupancy.?
??Assist managing an account team to achieve performance results.
??Assist clients in integrating their real estate plans with their business needs and developing occupancy cost strategies.
??Understand public sector real estate organizations, processes, and performance measurement.
??Prepare and present recommended strategies, complete multiple transactions for multiple clients, prepare and negotiate leases, coach and mentor junior personnel, manage personnel in a team environment.
??Must have a minimum of 5 years commercial real estate experience in leasing preferably tenant representation.
??Must have Experience with federal leasing.
??Account and Employee Management Experience
??Excellent communication and written skills, computer literacy (Excel, Word and Power Point in particular).
??Strong initiative and the ability to work in a fast paced environment are essential for success in this position.
??Strong customer service, communication, financial and analytical skills are critical.
