Dory the dolphin will take the kids on an underwater math adventure in three different oceans and beach with 5 different skill levels for practice.
Dory takes kids across various oceans including Antarctic ocean, Indian ocean, Pacific ocean and beaches to teach and improve on mathematical operations like subtraction, addition and also have fun with mini puzzle activities like matching , sorting and re arranging patterns.
Mathematical operations are performed in a way that?s fun and educating too. Kids will see the penguins jumping in sea and they will be doing a simple subtraction in each step. Addition operations are performed in the Indian Ocean where kids will need to figure out the total fishes as they arrive in the visible area. Similarly there is matching game which requires you to fix a broken submarine by arranging the tiles in the right order. The game has two levels that suit two different age groups or skill levels. Level 1 is for comparatively younger kids like preschoolers which uses numbers only from 0-5 in math problems while Level 2 is a more advanced level considering the inclusion of number up to 10 which could be well suited for kindergarten kids. This kids app also includes a neat feature to hide the menu button from kids which parents can unhide by tapping on the cloud, so that kids don?t accidentally exit an activity.
Math Ocean keeps the whole gaming and learning experience natural by asking questions in a very casual manner. Say- ?If 3 penguins jump in the water, how many are left? or ?if two more fish arrive, how many in the ocean?. All the actives are fun, educational and engaging and allow kids to practice all the basic math skills to improve their math proficiency.
