NRA Show Daily Deals allowed attendees (buyers) to purchase deeply discounted deals online and fulfill them face-to-face with sellers on the exhibit floor. Every day leading up to the NRA Show, and throughout the four-day event, a product or service was highlighted in a ?NRA Show Deal of the Day.? The offers included products and services from several exhibitor categories, including equipment, food, technology, services and uniforms. Each NRA Show Deal of the Day represented a savings of 50 percent or greater on an item or package with an original value of at least $500.?
In addition, both the NRA Show and the International Wine, Spirits & Beer Event (IWSB) showed positive growth in attendee and exhibitor numbers. Among NRA Show registrants, there was a 4 percent increase in the Restaurant/Foodservice category, a 6 percent increase in the Dealer/Distributor category, and 8 percent increase in the Press category. The 2011 events attracted nearly 58,000 registrants, according to preliminary analysis. On the exhibitor side, there was a 7 percent increase in square feet occupied over 2010, covering more than 515,000-square-feet. More than 1,900 exhibitors showcased the most innovative new products and services in the marketplace.?The NRA Show and IWSB Web sites feature previews of this year?s events and speaker presentations, including video and photos.
