Trendy fashion-forward New York boutique, Scoop NYC, will set up shop later this month in Brentwood, California. The 2,700 square foot store, located on 216 26th Street, Santa Monica, will be surrounded by some of Brentwood?s most prominent fashion boutiques. The store will be Scoop NYC?s first in California, and its 16th in the US.
Its first store opened in 1996 in New York City, and has since expanded to three Manhattan locations as well as Greenwich, CT; East Hampton and Greenvale, Long Island; the Shore Club Hotel in Miami Beach; The Forum Shops at Caesars in Las Vegas; two Chicago locations as well as Dallas, Boston, Atlantic City and now, Brentwood.
Susan Davidson, President and CEO of Scoop NYC said, ?All of us at Scoop are thrilled with the opening of our first West Coast store in Brentwood. Scoop has always had a loyal Los Angeles following that currently shops with us in New York, East Hampton, Las Vegas and online, and now we?re excited to provide the Los Angeles market with its very own store. The Brentwood location will bring Scoop?s ?Ultimate Closet? concept to life, with its signature assortment of designer offerings mixed with contemporary apparel, accessories, and, of course, denim for both men and women.?
Scoop?s 26th Street store will mimic the light and airy feeling of California style, yet it will still maintain Scoop?s signature sleek and modern aesthetic.
Offerings for women will include clothing and accessory styles by a variety of established and young, emerging designers, including Zac Posen, Chlo?, Burberry, Cacharel, RobertoCavalli, Inhabit, IRO, Kimberly Ovitz, Missoni, Rag & Bone, Michael Kors and Rebecca Taylor. Additionally, Scoop Brentwood will be the only store in California to offer Amedeo jewelry, an exquisite line consisting of one-of-a-kind, hand-carved Cameos from Italy.
Offerings for men will include styles by Dsquared, Michael Bastian, Paul Smith, John Varvatos, Moncler, PRPS, Yigal Azrou?l and Duckie Brown. Scoop?s own brand of women?s and men?s apparel and accessories will also be available.
Scoop will host a series of events to welcome the new store location beginning on April 28th with a celebration that will include free denim giveaways from AG Jeans, a chance to win a $1,000 Scoop shopping spree, Scoop cupcakes made by Brentwood?s own Yummy Cupcakes, a live DJ and delicious cocktails.
The festivities will also include an exclusive VIP cocktail reception in partnership with the Hammer Museum on May 2nd. Scoop will also partner with the Hammer on Sunday, May 20th, to sponsor K.A.M.P. (Kids Arts Museum Project), a family fundraising event with renowned Los Angeles artists that provides extraordinary access and experiences for children and their families. Proceeds raised through K.A.M.P. will provide funding to keep all Hammer Kids programs free to the public.
