COLONIE ? Chain restaurant locations along the Wolf Road shopping corridor are nothing new, but they usually have a fairly smooth path to creation.
The Bonefish Grill may be a different story, at least for the moment.
The seafood chain already has had its application for permission to install a 68.12-square-foot sign denied because town land use law limits signs to 33.23 square feet unless a special exemption is granted. An appeal is scheduled to be heard November 20.
The food menu offers a wide range of seafoods, steaks and the like. The bar menu is something the owners call a ?bar fresh? operation, relying heavily on freshly-squeezed juices and fresh herbs as well as regionally-sourced beers and small-batch bourbons.
