Badminton Asia Championships: Wong Wing Ki outwits Khuvituguldur Byambajav in first round clash

Hong Kong?s experienced player Wong Wing Ki found an easy and perfect start as he showed exit to Mongolia?s Khuvituguldur Byambajav in Men?s Singles first round of Badminton Asia Championships 2013 in Chinese Taipei, on Wednesday, April 17.

The 11th seed Wing Ki, who has been playing terrific badminton for the last six months at international stage, did not show any mercy to his lower ranked Mongolian challenger and easily finished up the match in just 15 minutes.

Wing Ki showed a wonderful performance in the arena as he tested all of his shots and remained quite comfortable in the execution of shots. He was in complete of the affairs and remained successful in winning the battle in straight games with a crushing 21-9 and 21-3 score on the board.

Meanwhile, the un-seeded Khuvituguldur was completely helpless against the positive and attacking play of his Hong Kong challenger. He could not put up strong resistance at any stage and easily bowed down in a lopsided manner.

Wing Ki delivered extremely well from the initial rallies of first set as he played with wonderful speed and grabbed the charge of rallies.

The lofty skills and tricky strategy helped Wing Ki to keeps his opponent in all sorts of problem on court. He continued playing attacking and positive badminton all the way and set up a remarkable lead until the end of first part.

The impressive Wing Ki remained comfortable in the arena after the one-minute interval as he played in the similar fashion.

The positive and aggressive play of Wing Ki assisted him to maintain his upper hand over his un-seeded challenger and he easily clinched the first set with a one-sided margin of 21-9.

Things were almost identical in the second game of this entertaining battle as Wing Ki played in the similar attacking way and remained on the driving seat.

Wing Ki displayed his incredible skills on court by taking the bird timely from all areas and maintained his upper hand over his opponent.

The higher ranked Wing Ki continued putting up comfortable show in the ending half of second game and remained successful in winning the game with a lopsided 21-3 margin on the board.
